Technology India - Bid for 126 AIr Force Planes

Indian Air Force is going for the new gadgets and technologies as India has invited a bid for 126 Fighter Planes that will make country proud and safe. The deal is going to be around 10.2 Billion USD that will make sure regarding quality and technology govt. don’t want to sacrifice.

Technology India needs to be in place before Pakistani air space is going to aquire them. This is the first time happened in the history of India that the government and the strategic people are looking concerned about the latest technology devices to be used in the Indian Air Force. The official date for the last bid is March 3 2008. Something here also we need to take care of that in the past govt took around a decades time to bring up 66 British Hack Planes.

The deal will take several years however starting of this is itself a big thing and news for all the patriotic Indians as they will be able to see several new technology aircrafts in India, very soon.


The companies which are invited for the Bid are

Mig – Russia,

Jas-39 from Swden

Dassault Rafale from France

(Consortium of Britain, Germany, Italy and Companied from Spain)

Lockheed F-16 – Britain

Boeing - US

Eurofighter Typhoon


The govt also laid emphasis on transferring of technology as from all these only 18 planes will come from other nations and rest of the others will be going to be manufactured in India. So Technology India is improving a bit and will make sure in the future we can compete with some major technologies of the world.
